This person who fought the plege is an athesist. Although I do not have a disliking to athesists in particular this one irks me. He is a laywer who was upset to find that when his daughter was saying the Pledge that the words "under God" were used. He felt this to be unfair and decided to fight it.

 

I have known people of different faiths even athesists who just go ahead and say the pledge they don't mind the words "under God" they don't think anything of it.

 

 By the 9th district saying that the Pledge is Unconstitutional it can effect even the Congress, The House of Representatives, The Constitution itself, our courts, the inaguration of the Presindent, hell even money becuase it has the words "In God we trust." This ruling has really ticked off the country. The entire Congress upon hearing this ruling went outside and said the Pledge. They said that they were going to say the words "under God" and if they were to be arrested then go ahead.

 

The House said that this ruling could make the entire govement Unconstitutional becuase the word God is in just about everything including the Constitution which gives them their power and our rights. This is an extreme movement of Polical correctness that just is insane. The miovement now is to repeal this law before real damage can be made.

 

 I am all for rights for everyone but hell this is just insane. The polical correctness movement has just gone way too far. First they say you can't have Christmas parties or prayers now they say we can't have our Pledge of Allegiance. This has just gone way too far to comprehend. What next we can't say hello because it is deemed unconstitutional. I thought this was America the Land of the Free not some Nazi country where we can't even say our Pledge of Allegiance.
